Welcome to our blog and we would like to present our blog called 'Clean Bhutan'. In this Blog we would like to track wastes around our societies as it is a major issue in Samtse. The more emissions that we produce due to how much trash we generate, affects us long term. One can develop diseases such as asthma, birth defects, cancer, cardiovascular disease, childhood cancer, COPD, infectious diseases, low birth weight, and preterm delivery.

So, to control the waste of Samtse Dzongkhag we as a group of people will try to make Samtse and also the nation clean by using Epicollect5 which is an app that provides both web and mobile application for the generation of forms (questionnaires) and freely hosted project websites for data collection. Data is collected (including GPS and media) using multiple devices and all data can be viewed on a central server (via map, tables and charts). We are the students of Samtse Lower Secondary School who are participating in the Innovation Tournament that aims to change waste management through using Epicollect5.

In our team there are 5 members, 3 are boys and 2 are girls.
